On fallen angels

So I sketched Brian's Azu & Tezu at work today and it only made me want to draw the designs for some fallen angels for the graphic novel him and I want to make based on Lucifer's rebellion. For that I made Abaddon, Mephistopheles, Samael, Mammon, and Ashmadaeva. The only one of those that still needs a lot more work is Mammon. Since I've already drawn Abaddon and Samael before in my old style they came out pretty awesome, but for quick first drafts of Mephistopheles and Ashmadaeva I'm rather happy with them. At first I gave Mephisto the half moon glasses I had originally planned, but I changed them to rectangles. I think they actually fit him better. He'll be a good one to focus on the transition to darkness for.

Also, this is something I thought up last week but just didn't post about. I'm considering making a more stylized history fantasy adventure comic along the lines of Jules Verne's Journey to the Centre of the Earth called, "Edmund Halley's Majestic Earth" or something along those lines (Possibly something that rolls off the tongue a little better, as long as I reference Edmund Halley in the name). It would most likely take place in the 1890s or 1900s, using some stock characters, and I would try to limit the colours and tones of the comic. I have an idea of what the cover would look like so whenever I feel like testing out the style I'll draw that.

That sounds interesting. Can't wait to hear about it in detail.
