Update

Been a while. Not surprising. Ideas have been formed. Drawings have been drawn.
Along with that, I have also been messing around with ideas in RPGMaker. There's Paul Zeppelin, a game that exists only because... well... zeppelins, and not to mention dropping bombs from zeppelins. Also, a more serious idea. I've made a game that simplifies time travel to quick key pressing to make it a necessary part of overcoming obstacles. I began it only to prove it was possible but it could turn into my 590 project.

Hungry

True story.
Done at random. A moment of comedy from Concept. Won't be drawing a lot of comics of Concept stuff, because I have other comics to worry about, but I might VERY infrequently draw more comics involving Æos saying ridiculous things just because I find it amusing. This waste of time is a testament to the name of my blog and website, but hopefully it at least gets some laughs.

WHAT IS THAT!?

Finished my drawing of the muses of Concept. It's wallpaper sized in case anyone wants to use it as such. First non-comic picture in this style with a full background. As well as that I've done some planning for Edmond Halley's Majestic Earth. I have more characters planned now, and I've named a few. I did however take one name from an actual person whose name I saw at work a few weeks ago. Couldn't resist a name like Genevieve Starkweather. As well as that, I did do a test drawing of Glen Meynell, the lead character of the comic. Just wanted to be sure that the style would work. Glen is probably pointing at a small very non-threatening rat.
On another note, I'm back at school (Roommate hasn't shown up yet) and classes start tomorrow. We'll see if this semester will be more productive than my summer. I sure hope so.

Website

Been working on the site. I began work on a flash to run the majority of the site. Don't know exactly how I want it to look but I know how I want it to work, so we'll see where that goes. Also, I don't actually know if it's possible to use flash on Google Pages so I have to test that out before I go crazy with this. Here's hoping.

On fallen angels

So I sketched Brian's Azu & Tezu at work today and it only made me want to draw the designs for some fallen angels for the graphic novel him and I want to make based on Lucifer's rebellion. For that I made Abaddon, Mephistopheles, Samael, Mammon, and Ashmadaeva. The only one of those that still needs a lot more work is Mammon. Since I've already drawn Abaddon and Samael before in my old style they came out pretty awesome, but for quick first drafts of Mephistopheles and Ashmadaeva I'm rather happy with them. At first I gave Mephisto the half moon glasses I had originally planned, but I changed them to rectangles. I think they actually fit him better. He'll be a good one to focus on the transition to darkness for.

Also, this is something I thought up last week but just didn't post about. I'm considering making a more stylized history fantasy adventure comic along the lines of Jules Verne's Journey to the Centre of the Earth called, "Edmund Halley's Majestic Earth" or something along those lines (Possibly something that rolls off the tongue a little better, as long as I reference Edmund Halley in the name). It would most likely take place in the 1890s or 1900s, using some stock characters, and I would try to limit the colours and tones of the comic. I have an idea of what the cover would look like so whenever I feel like testing out the style I'll draw that.

Andi Designs

Okay. I've been a bit restless this week so sorry for the delay (Like you were waiting). Here are two different designs for Andi. Very similar as you can see. The things I want to decide are: Which shirt is better for him? Should the pool stick remain with the wood or be painted black? and whether the green or red should be on the inside or outside of the bowling shoes? The shirts are the bigger concern for me.

Funny how this character once had so little back story, and because I designed a simple necklace for him I wrote my favourite back story of any of your party members in this game.

P.S. He's leaning on an invisible pool table.

Darts and Dice

Got some new darts yesterday which I absolutely love (The red shafted ones with the red and green ribs on the feathers are MINE!), so it moved me to make another sketch of Andi in my mini-drawing pad while at work today. I tried some new ideas for his shirt and I'm not sure what I want to go with. I'll probably draw him up tonight with two different shirt designs expecting people to actually give their opinion on which fits better. So if you happen to read this, check back tonight or tomorrow night to vote. It would be much appreciated.
